Community Corrections Partnership (CCP)

The formation of the CCP was prompted by the passage of Senate Bill 678; The California Community Corrections Performance Incentive Act of 2009. This bill requires that each county that receives funding under the act convene a local Community Corrections Partnership. Moreover, the bill requires that the partnership is chaired by the Chief Probation Officer and includes the: Presiding Judge of the Superior Court; District Attorney; Public Defender; Sheriff; Police Chief; Behavioral Health Director; Health & Human Services Director; County Office of Education; and a representative from a community-based organization.

The Juvenile Justice Coordinating Council (JJCC)

The Juvenile Justice Coordinating Council is a multi-agency advisory board required pursuant to Welfare and Institutions Code §749.22. The Council is responsible for developing a comprehensive, multiagency plan that identifies the resources and strategies for providing an effective continuum of responses for the prevention, intervention, supervision, treatment, and incarceration of male and female juvenile offenders, including strategies to develop and implement locally based or regionally based out-of-home placement options for youth described in WIC §602.

The Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Commission (JJDPC)

The purpose of the JJDPC is to coordinate on a countywide basis, the work of governmental and nongovernmental organizations engaged in activities to prevent juvenile delinquency.
