Megan’s Law database of sex offenders in the state of California is viewable by the public at the Sheriff’s Office. Information must be obtained in person; no information relating to the content of the database is available over the phone. To view the database, you must bring an official form of identification and be at least 18 years of age. There is a questionnaire that must be completed in order to view this database. The database is updated on a monthly basis and lists both Serious and High-Risk sexual offenders. Registered sex offenders are not allowed to view the database.

Even though no appointment is necessary, it is advised that you call the office ahead of time to ascertain that the conference room and staff are available. Appointments are also welcome.
