We are excited to invite you to a conversation discussing a possible creation of a Wine Heritage District in the County of San Benito. We believe the County of San Benito has so much to offer and one of those is the opportunity to enjoy the amazing scenery and wines locally grown. San Benito County is invested to make this opportunity a success. The current Board of Supervisors has allocated a $50,000 investment into a wine tourism effort. Once we were given this direction staff went to work to see how we could best invest this into our efforts of success. We have hired a consultant with Civitas Advisors who has experience and understanding in forming a Wine Heritage District (SBCWHD)

As we look into the future of a potential Wine Heritage District, we will discuss the royalties you would have access to. Such as funds for marketing, brand awareness, community development and industry advocacy through a unified tourism strategy to promote sales and visitation. There is evidence throughout our beautiful golden state that this approach has been successful, and we want to help drive customers directly to your doorstep.

Below is a glance overview of our investment for the San Benito County Wine Heritage District presented by Project Manager Kelly Rankin from Civitas Advisors, along with a brochure of information. We are pleased to invite and connect with you on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at 9:30 AM via zoom
