The San Benito County Jail provides telephone access to inmates on a daily basis. All calls are collect calls paid at the expense of the person receiving the call. The following shall apply:

• New inmates shall be provided, cost free, local telephone calls within (3) hours of their booking except where physically impossible.
• Inmates who are not sentenced shall be provided, cost free, local telephone calls to their attorney’s upon request and as soon as it is physically possible.
• Long distance calls are provided at the expense of the person receiving the call.
• To ensure the safety and security of the facility all calls are recorded and the Jail staff may monitor non-confidential telephone calls.

An account may be setup to accept collect calls from the County Jail by calling 877-650-4249. This service is provided by Global Tel Link which is a contracted vendor. You may also contact your service provider to set up a collect account.
